East End Arms

You've changed! Roughly a year ago i had my first sunday lunch at the east end arms and it was one of the best sunday roasts i have ever had, i went away from lunch raving about how good the meal had been and vowing to return. Well, it took a year, but today i finally manged to make it back to the east end arms and what a disappointment. Something has changed, the food was decidedly average (stiff dense cardboard like yorkshire puddings, over done roast lamb, cauliflower cheese with a definite lack of cheese flavour), the service whilst polite and pleasant was extremely slow. When the desert finally arrived it was luke warm and i still don't understand the idea of putting squirty out of a bottle childrens strawberry flavoured ice cream topping with sticky toffee pudding, it was not a flavour combination made in heaven. What a disappointment. East end arms – whatever you have changed, please change it back!
