About

A Leek-based independent bistro, offering a locally sourced and seasonal menu, Duck Goose is a beautiful little joint with emerald green tiling and quaint decor. At Duck Goose, the menu is a delightful fusion of flavours and culinary creativity, featuring a range of delectable dishes to satisfy your taste buds.

Begin your journey with the wild mushroom, garlic and tarragon soup, a velvety delight served with a drizzle of double cream, chives, and accompanied by charred sourdough. For seafood enthusiasts, the baked West Coast queen scallops are a must-try, served with a luscious smoked cheddar sauce, complemented by pickled red grapes, celery, and crispy potato skin crisps.

As you move on to the main courses, enjoy the confit duck leg, perfectly paired with wholegrain mustard mash, roasted potato skin crisps, and shallot & garlic green beans. The dish is elegantly finished with a velvety butternut squash puree and a rich jus gras sauce. The pan roast stone bass offers a delightful contrast, served with tandoori red prawn, spinach, and Puy lentil dhal, all harmoniously united by a fragrant yellow coconut curry sauce and squid ink papadum.

For dessert, indulge in the Duck Goose’s sweet creations. The burnt basque cheesecake is a delight, featuring a medley of blackberries, honeycomb, chocolate crumb, and cacao nibs. Alternatively, opt for the coconut panna cotta, adorned with brown sugar roasted pineapple, a drizzle of passion fruit and white chocolate caramel, and a sprinkle of matcha green tea powder.

Duck Goose invites you to embark on a delicious journey where each dish is meticulously crafted, using a range of ingredients and flavours to create a dining experience that's both unique and memorable. Come and enjoy the wonderfully crafted menu, lovingly prepared to delight your senses and leave you craving for more.
