Docks Coffee came to be through the serendipitous union of travel, taste, and a love for the relaxing nature of the European café lifestyle. In 2017, founders Dishi and Daniel Umfleet opened the Oxford Street location in Southampton, England after concluding that the only way they were going to find the combination of flavourful eats, sweet treats and top-notch coffees they were looking for locally, was to create their own.
This quaint little traveller’s outpost, disguised as the best coffee shop in Southampton, comes to you with heavy influence from the various places the founders have lived throughout the years. It is always full of characters going to and coming from some very interesting places and the atmosphere makes for a wonderful sunny afternoon brunch experience with friends and family or a delightful weekday getaway for a quiet lunch in a comfortable atmosphere.
