Denise’s has barely changed since it opened in 1989. On any given day over half the diners are regulars. "Hello! So nice to see you!" says amiable owner/manager Denise, ushering them in as if into
her own lounge. Some have come from abroad; most have been coming for years, finding comfort in the familiar dated burgundy wallpaper, carpet and chairs. Equally as welcome are the down-to-earth
modern European dishes. The warmth of the atmosphere can’t be overstated; Denise’s heartfelt hospitality - all too rare these days - pervades her front restaurant.
