Coppa Club Sonning is a beautiful riverside destination that is nestled discreetly in the quaint Berkshire village of Sonning, just a fifteen minute drive from the town of Reading, it’s a more rural destination for those wanting to avoid the hustle and bustle of the town.
The Coppa Club Sonning igloos are one of the biggest draws in the winter months, offering a cosy dining experience. These outdoor pods that have become so popular that they often sell out shortly after they are released, so book ahead to avoid disappointment. Outside of the winter months, guests can take advantage of outdoor seating with views across the River Thames or be seated in the main restaurant with chunky wooden tables and squishy velvet seating.
Housed on the ground floor of a Grade II listed hotel and former Coaching Inn, the Coppa Club features a large curved bar, velvet sofas that are perfect for day time coffee and cake or evening cocktails, booth seating and tables offer an ideal dining area, while a separate workspace offers a perfect place for low key meetings or home workers.
This casual all-day dining spot is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a car park but space is limited. The restaurant encourages biking and if you show your helmet at the bar you will receive a complimentary hot drink.
