The Brewhouse is its main restaurant and bar with cool wooden interiors and plenty of beer references throughout. Head upstairs to the first floor to discover its pizza and prosecco room, which is home to its microbrewery and custom-made pizza oven. This is where you can watch the team whip up their homemade pizzas and signature Cold Town Beer. Finally, find the roof terrace on the top floor serving cocktails, beer, an exclusive food menu and fantastic views of Edinburgh Castle. Particularly popular in summer, this alfresco area is perfect for any outdoor occasion and is decorated with stunning floral displays when the weather heats up.
While the food menu revolves around its stone-baked pizzas, there’s plenty more to dig your teeth into. Start with a few grazing plates such as cajun corn ribs, haggis loaded fries and deep-fried pickles. While mains include an array of burgers as well as fish and chips, a halloumi salad and Bombay chicken flatbreads. Desserts are super indulgent, and include a Nutella pizza filled with strawberries, banana and toasted marshmallows.
On the drinks front, make sure to check out its Cold Town House beer which is brewed at its microbrewery on site. This includes an eclectic range of experimental and exclusive brews. It takes its cocktails seriously too, with a large range of signature creations under inventive titles. One, for example is called Matcha Maker and combines Tia Maria Matcha, Disaronno Velvet, menthe, milk and vanilla syrup.
