Four of us took the opportunity to go to the Cinnamon Restaurant in Canary Wharf on Sunday 25th January for a treat.
Travelling from Kent we got a little lost, but phoned the restaurant and was put through to the Concierge Abdelkibir who was so patient with us and re-direct us to the venue. He greeted us like long last cousins, and even took us into the hotel.
Once inside as we were early, we were seated by a lovely lady from the restaurant (sorry forgot to take her name) until the restaurant opened and was asked if we required and drinks, we choose a hot beverage.
We were then greeted by Sergio, and felt like a million dollars with the service he gave. Everyone in the restaurant were exceptional! Our deal entitled us to a bottle of 'bubbly', so again when we were served this, we felt extremely special.
Sergio show us the menu and told us what we could offer from our deal, so there was no confusion with our selection. For the starter we choose Pork Bell and King Prawns, both were so very tasty! Then for main we had Sirloin Steak, Salmon and the Chef's Burger, again there were ultra tasty, did not need to add any extra seasoning. For dessert we had Chocolate Brownie with ice-cream, Chocolate Fondant and ice-cream and Sticky Toffee Pudding - three days later we are still in 'heaven'!
Our experience at the Hilton Cinnamon was second to none and we were planning a date to return for 'seconds', would definitely recommend it.
