Cafe Amisha has tried to make the most of an inauspicious space. On moving in they must have been overwhelmed by the exposed car park concrete. But they have tried to compensate with colourful furnishings and novel lighting. The food is simple, not complicated and not bad… But no better than that. Take the pizzas, the bases are crisp and thin, but there is no sense of flavour and almost non existent herbs. Like everything about Cafe Amisha the service is OK but flawed… Our waiter was friendly, but his incessant quipping became a bore.
In an area crying out for places for an informal, but quality restaurant a little more polish here could draw a large and loyal following. As it is, cafe Amisha is sadly underwhelming.
