Brasserie 37 is located on the picturesque Lakeside Road, Bampton, guests can enjoy stunning Cumbrian waterside views, sat beside the brasserie’s roaring open fire.
The classic British seasonal menu has been thoughtfully designed to showcase simple, quality ingredients at their best. Beautifully presented, many ingredients have been locally sourced from carefully selected Cumbrian producers.
Brasserie 37 also has guest rooms, if you are looking to stay and soak up the magnificent scenery.
The Brasserie itself has been sympathetically restored and decorated to create a cosy inviting space, making the most of the stunning lakeside views.
The brasserie appears to be a relaxed and welcoming space, finished with traditional quality furnishings and polished wooden floors. Guests can enjoy pretty countryside and lake views from most angles at Brasserie 37.
The seasonal menu has been carefully crafted by Head Chef Mark Greenaway. Mark was awarded 3 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence in 2012, he has since opened a number of award winning restaurants in Scotland, including one at Edinburgh’s Waldorf Astoria.
Mark has also published an award winning recipe book and has made multiple appearances on the BBC’s Great British Menu, representing Scotland, plus appearances on Saturday Kitchen Live and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
Mark’s seasonal menu changes regularly at Brasserie 37, however you may find dishes on the menu such as Scottish smoked salmon served with capers and dill, hand rolled linguini served with mushrooms and tarragon cream, and Haweswater beef burger served with chips.
Smaller plates on the menu may include pulled pork sausage rolls, battered seafood goujons, and fried sticky chicken served with smoked Cumbrian cheese.
You can also join Brasserie 37 for a roast every Sunday, served from 12 noon until 4.30pm. Choose between two or three courses, which includes a selection of roasted meats, seasonal vegetables plus all the trimmings.
