There's nothing quite like a Sunday roast, is there? Lashings of gravy over crispy potatoes and fluffy Yorkshire puds - the weekend isn't complete without it. Making sure every element is perfect can be a difficult feat, though, and sometimes you just don't want to deal with the hassle and preparation of doing it yourself. Sometimes, it's just better to let someone else do it for you.
If you’re on the hunt for the best roast dinner in Birmingham, then you’ve come to the right place. The city is bursting with pubs, many of which offer a cosy spot for an afterwork pint and a plate of Sunday roast on a weekend. There are countless spots across the city offering Sunday roasts, and not just in the city centre - you'll find great roasts all over the larger Birmingham area from Moseley to Harborne to Alvechurch and everywhere in between. That said, if you're in the city centre then we've got you covered too with a number of excellent spots by Brindley Place, so you can even go for a stroll along the canals once you're finished.
Most roasts offer a choice of meat (and often a fish or vegetable alternative) but lets forget the main event for a moment, because for many of us a good roast is all about the sides. It's the extras that can really make the dinner with offerings of cauliflower cheese, dauphinoise potatoes and even pigs in blankets (not just a Christmas treat!) at several of these spots.
Whether you're looking for somewhere to spend a wholesome afternoon with the family or if you just need help with the Sunday morning hangover, then be sure to try one of these restaurants serving roast dinners in Birmingham - grab yourself a Bloody Mary and tuck in.
