The spookiest day of the year, October 31, first began as the pagan festival, Samhain, a time when the seasons change and the veil between the worlds of living and dead is at its thinnest. This year, Halloween falls on a Thursday, so we're expecting the majority of London’s celebrations to take place on the following Friday and Saturday, although there are a few restaurants and bars which will be flying their freak flags high on the actual day itself too. To help you plan your Halloween night out, we have rounded up the best Halloween menus, and thrown in a few Halloween events in London for good measure.
