The born-again Beluga Café may have migrated a short distance from its original premises but now, as before, the choice is between the diminutive interior in the listed Port East warehouse or the broad, sunny terrace with the Canary Wharf skyline for a backdrop; in fine weather, at least, the terrace wins hands down. The eponymous caviar fails to make an appearance but there’s plenty of seafood on the versatile menu, from oysters to a crayfish & mango salad; there are also steaks & fish from the stone grill or you can tackle a 100% Scottish beef burger, salad or wrap. The wine list offers plenty of sub-£25 choice, beers include draught Peroni & Beck’s & the cocktail list is strong on the classics.
