Found inside the stunning Porth Veor Manor hotel on the outskirts of Newquay, Beaucliffes is a bright and airy restaurant that's based in the hotel's conservatory and serves a range of different food options. What Beaucliffes is best known for however, is its amazing breakfasts for which it has won multiple awards. With incredible views of Porth Beach below and a laid back but peaceful atmosphere, Beaucliffes is a fantastic spot to start your day whether you're simply staying at the hotel or are specifically looking for a hearty breakfast in an idyllic spot.
The Porth Veor Manor hotel looks like a country house from the outside with its stone exterior and beautiful rolling gardens out the back which stretch down towards the sea. The impressive glass conservatory which overlooks these gardens is where Beaucliffes is located, meaning that after your meal you can head outside for a wander around the grounds. The décor inside the restaurant has been kept simple but slick, with the walls painted muted colours and tables covered with white table cloths dotted around the dining room. Light floods into the dining room from the tall windows and roof of the conservatory.
When it comes to food at Beaucliffes, it really is all about the brilliantly priced breakfast menu which has plenty of different options to choose from for both adults and children (who dine for just £4 alongside a full paying adult). Diners can start with a selection of fruit, pastries, cereals, juices and more, from the buffet before moving on to something more substantial. Hot options range from a full Cornish breakfast which features only the best Cornish produce, to a three-egg soufflé with a choice of fillings. This, of course, all comes accompanied with either tea or coffee, while there's also unlimited toast and spreads.
