Down a quiet Cornish lane, Trevibban Mill is a family operated vineyard, winery, and event space, just a short distance from the charming harbor town of Padstow. Once the residence of a miller and his family, the land has transformed into a prime spot for vines, apple trees, and native English Southdown sheep. Here, the team are proud to present timeless Barnaby’s dishes and seasonal small plates, all of which include plenty of delicious Cornish seafood, locally sourced meat and produce. At Barnaby’s, you can dine cosily indoors, or al fresco.
The restaurant is closed from Sunday through to Tuesday, and is open between 12 and 10pm from Wednesday through to Saturday for guests. Dogs are welcome, too. Join Barnaby’s every Saturday from 9.30 until 11.30am for a Middle Eastern inspired brunch, including Turkish eggs, homemade flatbreads, freshly brewed coffee and breakfast cocktails. Start off your meal with Porthilly oysters served with shallot vinegar and tabasco or deep fried with mojo verde and tajin. Then, try delicious dishes of crab toast with muhammara, watercress and walnuts, along with lamb Börek served with saffron yoghurt and smoked chilli oil. Next, try out the Phillip Warren beef with baharat butter and almonds, or the za'atar chicken with garlic yoghurt and kebab shop salad. On the side, order the crushed spiced potatoes and kale with tahini dressing and agridulce.
Barnaby’s are really proud to share with customers details about their suppliers, like Ross from Padstow Kitchen Garden who supplies Barnaby’s with vegetables, salad and herbs that he grows on his family's farm less than a mile from Padstow, and George who sources delicious fish for Barnaby’s each day from the boat market in Newlyn and other local fisherman, and delivers straight to the door each door.
