Bantof is an intimate restaurant on Great Windmill Street in Soho that brings together global sharing plates and experimental cocktails with art and music. Its concept revolves around a relaxed and collaborative approach to dining, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu is designed by Michelin chef Asimakis Chaniotis, who is executive chef at Michelin-starred Pied A Terre and has lent his culinary skills to the food offering at Bantof.
Guests can choose from a concise selection of bread and dips, small plates and mains to share. Start with the likes of wild mushroom and truffle pate, taramasalata and kale and basil pesto alongside a selection of breads, alongside small plates such as sea bream tartare with avocado, smoked almonds and yuzu dressing. For main course, dishes include rainbow mini burgers, spinach and lemon risotto and beef cheek ribeye with sweet potato puree, watercress and brussel sprouts. While desserts include pistachio with berries, or an apricot tart with strawberries.
Bantof’s innovative cocktail menu is created with the help of mixologist Jack Scotti and his brand SuperNacular. Taking inspiration from Soho's vibrant and eclectic character, guests can experience a series of cocktails called Soho Stories which showcases the unique elements of the central London neighbourhood. Each cocktail in the series is named after a different Soho landmark or personality.
Although situated in a former house, Bantof requires no paid membership and welcomes everyone into its relaxed and intimate environment. An ever-changing rotation of art exhibitions showcase upcoming talent and more established names in the art world, inviting the public to experience and appreciate art in all of its forms.
