Spread over three floors in Windermere is the impressive BAHA, a one-stop-shop for live entertainment, food and flowing drinks. The menu is a little different to what you’d expect from normal bar food, with the sandwiches, served between 12 and 4pm, offering a teriyaki beef street-bap and meatball sub. Small plates include an indulgent baked camembert and gochujang chicken tenders, with plenty of burgers, curry, jumbo red shrimp and crab mac and cheese also on the menu.
We’re sure that firm favourites - truffle cheese fries and sticky toffee pudding will be some of the most popular on the menu. There's also a Sunday lunch menu, but this isn't served throughout the warmer months, and reappears back in October. The children’s menu includes a fish finger butty, cheesy tomato pasta and chicken tenders with skin on fries. You can find all the classic cocktails on the menu at BAHA, with the addition of their 'Cocktail Stars', which include a refreshing Mango Rum Punch and tequila based Melon Choice.
There’s a good offering of beers, cider, wine and fizz at BAHA too, with a glass of house champagne priced at just £8.70. Thursday to Monday every week, up to 12 people at a time can be accommodated in the Bornoisy Karaoke pod for an evening of endless fun, with plenty of midweek offers to be scored. You’ll also find customers enjoying afternoon tea and shaking up a storm at a cocktail masterclass at BAHA, which will help you learn the difference between a Mai Tai and a Zombie. Nearly every Friday and Saturday night you’ll find live music at BAHA, from acoustic covers of your throwback favourites to epic DJ and saxophone duos.
