Many moons ago, The Artichoke stood as a stand-alone home on an area of large farmland occupied by a family that would toil the fields and invite villagers in on a Sunday for cherry picking & tasting. The building is early 17th century and has survived many lives and various uses... {3}A residence for Thomas Clutterback, an overflow morgue, a loved home and a number of Pubs. While things have moved on since then, we still stand-alone for some unique food offerings,{3}for creating a wonderful environment & for genuinely wanting to look after you.
