We visited the Angel for lunch and met the new landlady and her son, the chef. They were extremely welcoming and friendly and showed genuine interest for feedback. Their ideas for the pub and are clearly investing in it to be a family community pub and restaurant again. We had a steak sandwich and the steak was delicious and cooked perfectly.
