Don't let the The Somers Town Coffee House name confuse you. Here, you won't just find coffee and snacks, but will walk through the doors to be greeted by a pub that serves delicious food all day and all night. The fresh food menus are served from 8am, and you'll find a range of small and large plates as well as sharing platters and fresh oysters.
It's not just everyday dining that The Somers Town Coffee House offers, though, as there are four beautifully appointed private dining rooms on the first floor that sit just above the pub. From lunchtime each day, visitors are able to book these rooms for private dining hire. Whether you're looking to host a Christmas get together, a working lunch in the hub of London (King's Cross and Euston), or want to gather everyone you love together for something special, you'll find the perfect space for a private dining experience at The Somers Town Coffee House.
If you opt for private dining here, you can dine from the small plate menu, specials board, or choose one of the special packages for a touch of something luxurious. Perhaps the event calls for Tomahawk steak, suckling pig or shellfish platter. After your meal, you and your guests can make your way to the speakeasy style cocktail bar for intimate after-dinner drinks.
Your choices will be the Boardroom which seats up to 14 people and has a classic old school feel to it with leather seats and oak wood panels, and the Garden Room for 12 guests with cosy, gingham style and Georgian garden tables. The further two private dining rooms are the Club Room which seats 16 people and is light and airy with a pewter table and comfy chairs, and the Kitchen Room that has a country kitchen vibe with an old school wooden table in a space that feels like home and fits eight guests.
