Roseate House London is a luxury, boutique hotel in one of London's most exclusive postcodes. Situated just a stone's throw from Hyde Park, this Grade II listed townhouse has history dating all the way back to the 1800s and is now a picture of contemporary style.
While the hotel boasts 47 boutique bedrooms and suites, the team are also incredibly proud of their event spaces and private dining rooms. So, if you're looking for somewhere really special to hold an important dinner, this could be the place.
The Hyde is the hotel's in-house restaurant and is actually touted as a private dining restaurant, as available for exclusive events as it is day-to-day dining. To give you an idea of the vibe here, the space features original Victorian furniture and oil paintings to reflect the history's hotel, many of which have been curated by Jonty Hearnden, antiques expert, appraiser and presenter of BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and Cash in the Attic.
The Hyde has capacity for 24 guests around a central dining table, or 40 on separate rounded tables. From the stunning fireplace to the glittering chandeliers, anything from a wedding to a birthday party or important corporate event would be at home here. In terms of the food, think modern European plates like pan fried fillet of seabass with crispy crab bon bon, grilled baby courgette and king oyster mushrooms, alongside dishes like confit chicken breast with bok choy and curried cauliflower. You are also more than welcome to discuss your preferences with the team and create a bespoke menu.
In the warmer months, The Hyde Garden is a beautiful place to host a soiree and has capacity for up to 30 guests in its garden courtyard. The team say that for drinks receptions and canapes, this is the best spot in west London.
