If you're looking for private dining in central London, then look no further than Panton Yokocho, a Japanese restaurant found in the heart of Leicester Square. Panton Yokocho comes from the team behind Heddon Yokocho, featuring a menu that puts the focus on all things ramen.
Interiors here are inspired by 'yokocho' alleyways, with bright, colourful lanterns that don the ceilings and signs reminiscent of market stalls that plaster the walls of the otherwise neutral dining room. This site embodies that traditional history, boasting a cosy space similar to those narrow streets, and embracing that loud and buzzing atmosphere.
There’s two options when it comes to private dining here. For a larger private event, be sure to book out the entire space and take over the restaurant which can accommodate up to 40 guests. For something a bit smaller, it’s as simple as booking a table. The team can host private bookings for up to 24 guests, perfect if you’re planning a more intimate evening of dining.
Menus here really put the focus on ramen, with various toppings, noodle varieties and types of broths. There’s bound to be something that catches your attention with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians to ensure that the whole group is happily fed. Why not try the Yokocho Ramen, made with a soy based chicken and pork broth, medium, wave noodles and topped with bbq pork belly, spring onion, cabbage, bamboo shoots and seaweed.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a selection of street food favourites that work as starters or sides. Be sure to try the likes of steamed buns, prawn tempura and pork gyoza. As far as desserts go, you can tuck into the likes of mochi brownies or mochi donut and icecream stack.
Drinks span spirits, beers and ciders with a pretty extensive list of sake, perfect for washing everything down.
