The Cotswolds is one of the UK's most illustrious areas, famed for its gold-toned stones, posh villages and idyllic scenery. Traditional, country manors are the order of the day here, which is why Ingleside House is so keen to stand out. Instead of the beige interiors, rustic styling and a cottage-y feel that you so often find in the Cotswolds, the design mavericks at Ingleside House have put bold colours and daring artworks at the forefront of their stylish, Grade II Listed hotel.
Think a luxurious reception with paint-splattered walls, modern sculptures for decoration and unique, upcycled furniture set against a backdrop of jewel-toned walls. The team at Ingleside House enthusiastically welcome private dining bookings and invite those planning any kind of celebration, from birthday parties and wedding receptions to corporate days and brand launches, to consider their beautiful event spaces. First up is the hotel's sister restaurant Téatro, sitting just next door. Modern and atmospheric, you could take over the entire space, use the private room or even book the outdoors area which boasts a firepit and fairy-lit courtyard for 40 people.
Then, The Drawing Room offers pretty period features such as a fireplace and huge, Georgian windows, with a oval dining table at its centre with capacity for 18 guests. Similarly, The Music Room also shows off some gorgeous period features and can either accommodate 18 people on one table or 30 across separate tables, making it the perfect room to host a wedding breakfast.
Interestingly, The Music Room also has access to The Barn Theatre, a renowned arts space with which Ingleside House has a special relationship. Here, up to 200 people can be seated in the auditorium providing a platform for live performances and entertainment. And, of course, if asking guests to travel from out of town for your event, the 11 boutique bedrooms will come in most handy!
