HOF’s Bar & Dining is a cosy pub and restaurant found in Henley and is the first retail outlet for wine merchants HOF’s. The restaurant also offers private dining opportunities and is able to accommodate all manner of personal and corporate functions, including birthday dinners, wine tastings, charity events and office parties.
At HOF’s Bar & Dining, there are two dedicated event spaces to choose from, as well as the option of exclusive hire. For more casual events such as drinks receptions, hire out the cosy Wine Hub, which features shelves lined with wine bottles and upturned wooden beer barrels that double up as tables and are flanked by high stools. This is also a great place to host tastings, with The Wine Hub able to accommodate groups of up to 12 people for tastings, with a number of ready made packages on offer, such as the HOF’s wine tasting experience and the ‘Around the World’ tasting package.
For more formal affairs, instead opt for The Conservatory. This light and airy space has a rustic-chic feel, complete with distressed flooring, sanded down wooden tables and plenty of natural light flowing in via sloping windows. The Conservatory is adjacent to The Wine Hub and the two can be hired in tandem - ideal for events where the drinks need to be just as good as the food.
Large parties also have the option of hiring out the entire restaurant. Whatever the occasion, HOF’s team of trained chefs can be on hand to provide guests with dishes from its menu of South African, German and Swiss inspired dishes. Plates you might come across include beef roulade served in a red wine jus with creamy mash or Wiener Schnitzel with pickled cucumber salad and potato salad. Post-dinner, live entertainment (bands, singers, etc.) are also an option.
