The private dining room at Duck & Waffle seats up to 18 guests around a large, rectangular table and is available to hire at all times of the day. Floor-to-ceiling windows and mirrored walls maximise the natural light and spectacular views over London, so whether you’re planning an early breakfast meeting or a special occasion dinner, the space won’t disappoint. The private room can also be hired for standing events of up to 25, though at lunch and dinner times only.
Meetings are well catered for, thanks to the in-house audio/video system, as are events where the main focus is on dining. Executive chef Daniel Barbosa has created four sharing menus for group dining: all-day, breakfast, brunch, and late-night, though if you’d prefer individual courses, there’s an individual choice dining menu that’s been created especially for the private room as well. For standing receptions, there’s a chef’s sharing standing menu, and a premium upgrade available across all menus for those who want to include more of Duck & Waffle’s most memorable dishes. For us, these include the giant spicy duck doughnut finished off with charred pineapple jam and a dusting of paprika sugar, and the eponymous house speciality – a stack of waffles topped with confit duck leg and a fried egg.
The private dining room comes with a food and beverage minimum spend, which varies according to the time of day you book it for. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your event goes smoothly and your guests have a memorable experience.
