Description
Since opening in Fitzrovia more than a decade ago, the four-strong group of Roka restaurants have established themselves as purveyors of contemporary Japanese cuisine in cool, modern environments. As well as accommodating groups for food-first experiences at its branches in Aldwych, Charlotte Street, Canary Wharf and Mayfair, Roka lays on a medley of masterclasses with a teambuilding focus. In a low-lit, dark-wood basement beneath its Charlotte Street flagship, the Shochu Lounge is named for Japan's second national tipple – a versatile, vodka-like spirit. Groups can head on down to saw ice, chop fruit and infuse a batch of their own that they can return to savour at any time.
