Aside from owning a couple of London’s most exciting British restaurants - Crispin Spitalfields and Bar Crispin in Soho - the Crispin Group also does catering for private and corporate events, bringing its signature pared-back, seasonal cooking style and low-intervention wines to large and small events.
Crispin Group Catering offers a fully bespoke service for external events, and the flexible food offering covers both full and part catering, as well as a huge range of different occasions, including breakfast, more casual dining such as working lunches and buffets, as well as seated dining and corporate dinners. Both Crispin and Bar Crispin are known for seasonal sharing menus that feature great, locally-sourced ingredients from renowned independent producers such as The Dusty Knuckle Bakery in Dalston, The Sea, The Sea for dayboat fish, and Paddock Farm for meat, whilst fruit and vegetables come from small-scale independents via Natoora and Shrub Provisions.
Menus are bespoke and can be tailored to suit the nature of your event, but example dishes include shoulder of lamb with anchovy and mint, fried Cornish mids with winter leaves, Stilton croquettes with pickled walnut ketchup, and burrata with Delica pumpkin and sage. Crispin Group Catering also handles canape and drinks receptions, offering knowledgeable wine service alongside elegant canapes like crispy halloumi with apricot jam, Queenie scallops with fennel puree and citrus, chorizo sausage roll with aioli, and spiced fried chicken with tarragon mayo. While signature cocktails include creations such as a Brown Butter Old Fashioned, an Orange Wine Mezcal Margarita and an Olive Oil Martini.
Crispin goes to great lengths to source great wines from smaller independents and head sommelier Alex Price curates an often-changing wine list that features natural and low-intervention organic wines, mostly from European wineries. This includes lots of great European sparkling wines, which Crispin can supply for drinks receptions.
