Yeovil is a town in Somerset, and is close to Somerset's southern border of Dorset. Although Yeovil is a relatively small town, it was once a vital part of the leather industry in the 19th century, and became synonymous with glove making, so much so that its football club was nicknamed the Glovers. In this town, you’ll find some chain shops, a few boutiques, plenty of places to eat and drink, a country park, some museums and a town theatre. If you've got time, pay a visit to the multi award winning Haynes Motor Museum or Fleet Air Arm Museum. You'll also find lots of brewing companies, along with beautiful gardens and country parks, and can take a tour of Glastonbury from here.
