Located in the centre of London’s tech district, The Lightwell is a versatile venue suited to smaller events such as workshops, product launches, private celebrations and more. Despite being a dry hire space, venue hire comes with dedicated service from the events team who are committed to curating your perfect event. The team can provide a trusted list of suppliers if you need any extras like flowers and entertainment, and can also assist in arranging personalised branded decorations like banners or gift bags if required. Just a five minute walk from Old Street and Liverpool Street stations, this is an easily accessible venue from most parts of the capital, and is surrounded by a lively neighbourhood of bars, restaurants and boutique shops.
Boasting 1,250 sq ft of space in total, the main space at The Lightwell features a full-length roof light, affording bountiful natural light during the day and a unique window to the stars in the evening. Up to 50 guests can be accommodated seating or standing, and the configuration can be set up in a variety of ways to best suit you, such as U-shaped seating, theatre-style or boardroom. If you require additional space, the adjacent lounge can be included as a welcome area, cloakroom or breakout space, and extra furniture can be arranged. The space is fully equipped with state-of-the-art presentation and conference capabilities, AV facilities, a 98-inch TV, adjustable lighting states and more.
Although catering is not provided in-house, the team are more than happy to recommend caterers who can suit your needs, whether you’re after light refreshments between meetings, canapes for a drink's reception or a full sit-down meal for a private celebration. Drinks-wise, the venue is licensed to serve alcohol until 9:30pm, but this can be extended if desired.
