For smaller seated events, there are two dedicated private dining rooms to choose from. The Little Boathouse is able to host 16 people around a large central table, and boasts neutral decor and large windows which flood the room with natural light. Additionally, you might prefer to choose the cosy ambience of Gathering Room A, a more intimate space with the capacity to host up to 10 guests. This is a lovely option for a small family event, such as a birthday or anniversary.
The Boathouse Cafe welcomes parties and large celebrations too. Simply speak to the team about hiring the main restaurant or outdoor terrace for a more major event. The terrace is particularly lovely for summer parties, with views of the River Wey and surrounding landscape. If you’d like to take over the venue exclusively, you can do so for up to 120 of your nearest and dearest.

From drinks and canapes to a three-course meal, all its dishes are vibrant, seasonal and make use of fresh British produce. For a flavour of what to expect, examples of dishes on the current menu include whipped ricotta with spiced roasted pumpkin, green pesto and candied walnut, and cod belly ‘schnitzel’ with burnt lemon, fresh horseradish, capers, chervil, fries and tartar sauce.
