With the wellness trend washing over London like a tsunami, maybe it’s time to get on board with it on the teambuilding front, too? The AquaPhysical water fitness classes at Le Méridien Piccadilly’s pretty indoor swimming pool could be just the ticket.

The FloatFit Class BALANCE is a 30-minute session of fun, low impact and high intensity. The movements combine yoga and pilates, which aims to work on your abs as much as your mind.

Ever tried doing the downward dog on a paddle board? It’s tough. This class really focuses on improving isometric strength and posture alignment while using the water’s instability to ensure your core muscles are constantly activated.

Tickets are £20pp and you can go in intimate groups of five. Evening slots are on Monday, whereas lunch-time slots are on Thursdays. Want to make a whole day out it? If you book a massage for everyone (from £85pp), you can buy a £12.50pp day spa pass, which gives you access to all the spa’s facilities. There’s nothing like a relaxing day spent in the steam room to boost morale.

The swimming pool’s sophisticated interiors transport you away from your usual gym-setting – decorated columns, mosaic tiling and mirrors add a level of luxury and comfort.

You can always head over to The Terrace On Piccadilly (the hotel’s restaurant) for a nice lunch or dinner when you’re done. Or treat your team to a cheeky drink at Longitude 0°8', the hotel’s lower-ground bar.
