The Bounce bars in
Old Street and
Farringdon have amped up their ping-pong offering with ball tracking technology and state-of-the-art projection mapping
The result is Wonderball – a selection of games based on the original ping-pong format, but instead played on a table that that lights up like a giant computer screen from a projector above.
Players can compete to see how many times they can successfully hit the ball back and forth, or try to get as many points as possible by hitting targets on the table. The trackers automatically count the scores (phew), and there’s even a Wonderball equivalent of beer pong that uses animated characters.
Plus it’s been designed with groups in mind, so that it can work for lots of players and different levels of skill.
Adam Breeden, founder and CEO says, ‘At Bounce we don’t believe in boundaries and look at consistently innovating to bring social gaming into the future.’
You can book the experience in either of the venue’s private rooms or semi-private areas.
