If your office is in need of a team night out, but you don’t have the budget to stretch to away days, why not keep things local and stay in London?
For a team night out with a difference, head over to SingEasy in the West End, which is the newest concept from The Piano Works.
The lively night sees guests served their dinner by a team of aspiring West End stars, while a live piano player leads the charge with renditions of cheesy pop songs and legendary show tunes.
The waiters show off their vocal range
SingEasy takes its cue from two of the most famous sing-along dining experiences in the world, Ellen’s Stardust Diner and Marie’s Crisis Café, which can both be found in New York City.

Part of The Piano Works West End, this venue-within-a-venue allows guests to request the songs they want to hear, and singing along to!
The SquareMeal team tried it out on a Friday evening, entering the intimate space to be greeted by a medley of singing waiters, hitting the high notes while delivering the likes of fish & chips and shrimp tacos to waiting tables.
Guests are encouraged to sing along
At first, we were a little sceptical – you really have to embrace the cheese in a place like this and it’s hard to lose your inhibitions when you’re supposed to be a serious adult. As the night went on though (and the drinks flowed), we had a brilliant time, eventually plucking up the courage to sing along and even request some of our favourite songs – including an excellent rendition of Estelle’s American Boy.

On the night we visited, we enjoyed a mash-up of different singing styles, but each night boasts its own theme. Head here on Mondays for a musical theatre takeover, join on a Tuesday for a drag-queen invasion, or pop in on a Wednesday, where movie soundtracks are the order of the night.
Sing along while you tuck into dinner
The two-course dinner menu is priced at £21 per person, with bottomless Prosecco available for an additional £20 per head.
For a fun team night out that differs from the norm, we reckon SingEasy hits all the right notes. Book your place here.
