About RSA House

RSA House is an inspiring and versatile venue in central London with several unique spaces suitable for multiple types of events. This Georgian townhouse effortlessly combines original 18th century architecture with contemporary features, so you can benefit from both a stunning backdrop and modern amenities. There are 11 unique events spaces spread across four floors, which are able to accomodate everything from lavish events for up to 220 guests, to intimate occasions for just 20 people.

Looking to hire RSA House for your next corporate event? Its flexible spaces can be hired separately or in conjunction with one another, to ensure your event flows seamlessly. Unique to RSA House is the Durham Street Auditorium. Located under a tunnel, it features exposed brickwork, arched ceilings and can seat up to 70 people, with theatre-style tiered seating suited to presentations or panel discussions.

If you’re looking for a standout venue for your next private party, RSA House has plenty to offer. Its impressive Vaults room, a large subterranean area featuring exposed brickwork, multicoloured lights and interconnecting rooms, can hold up to 220 guests, for example. There are several packages to choose from too, which include exclusive hire of the space, an arrival drink, a bowl food menu, state-of-the-art surround sound and plenty more.

Alternatively, the Great Room, with its high-domed glass ceiling, impressive paintings and built-in AV, can accommodate 200 for a standing drinks party or 120 guests for a seated meal. This is often hired in conjunction with the Benjamin Franklin Room, which serves as an ideal pre- or post-dinner reception space.

Catering is provided in-house by CH&CO, who work to curate inspiring and sustainable menus, while the dedicated events team are on hand to assist with a trusted list of suppliers, for everything from entertainment to furniture.

The Great Room is our largest space in the building playing host to awards dinners, large conferences and meetings, drinks receptions and weddings. This iconic room is fully air conditioned, with natural daylight streaming in from the glass domed ceiling. With full AV built in, this room is ideal for most event types. The Great Room was designed by Adam as an assembly room for the Society Members' discussions and debates and as a venue for the presentation of awards and prizes. The Great Room is dominated by the epic series of paintings "Progress of Human Knowledge and Culture" by James Barry. In 1774, ten artists including Barry, were invited to decorate the Great Room and all declined, but Barry. 24 years later the impressive sequence of six paintings were completed to display the images we still house today.
