Onyx Function Room is a luxury party venue and blank canvas events venue, found in the town of Heswal on the Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside. If you have an event approaching - from weddings and bar mitzvahs, to anniversaries or corporate functions, the Onyx Function Room is a versatile space designed to elevate your special moments.
The large space has been designed with glamour in mind. Metallic-toned, textured walls lend character to the moody space, whilst swathes of organza drape lazily across the ceiling and across white tableclothes. Chair backs - often accessoried with colourful bows - give the venue a real party feel. The team have thought about all the Instagram moments, installing a living wall which is perfect for picture opportunities.
Ordinarily Onyx hosts all sorts of different public events, from entertainment via tribute acts to bingo nights, charity fundraisers, karaoke nights and live bands. When it comes to private hire, Onyx is extremely flexible. Because it hosts a range of nights through-out the week, the space is well equipped for private parties, birthday parties and other celebrations, corporate and networking events and lots more. Onyx also has the capacity to set up with live music and entertainment if you're planning some live music for a celebration, and the venue also has a dedicated bar to keep your guests well hydrated.
There are two individual suites available within the space - the Onyx and Nyx suites, which have capacity for 250 and 180 guests respectively. If you're planning something really big, you can hire the whole space exclusively and combine the two for over 400 guests.
Thanks to the open plan space, there are plenty of corners to set up your own installations, like large light-up letters or numbers, balloon arches or play areas for children. Simply speak to the team about your desired vision and they'll help you bring it to life.
