Just over a year ago, childhood friends Digby Vollrath (Boomtown, LA Brit Week and Festicket) and Hugo Campbell got fed-up with the time-consuming process of finding interesting food options for events. Their solution? To set up an online Airbnb-styled sharing platform for caterers of all shapes and sizes – meet
Feast It.
How does it work? The Feast It crew has carefully handpicked 400 of who they consider to be the best caterers in the country – be it street food traders, pop-ups, traditional caterers, high-end restaurants and mobile bars. They’ve gathered them all under one roof, presenting you with the choice of making the catering at your next event entirely bespoke.
In the company’s short life, it has already catered for events for companies such as Amazon, the Royal Academy, LinkedIn and Monocle. It’s able to supply to festivals, street food feasts, parties, weddings and corporate events. It also works with some of the industry’s most interesting vendors – Thai Angle, Tacos Del Ray, and The Middle Feast, to name a few.
On top of all this, the company has been shortlisted for The Lloyds Bank National Business Awards in the New Business of the Year category, so exciting things are happening.
Want to get involved? Feast It abide to a strict set of criteria for the suppliers it works with. The founders are specifically looking for what they call ‘unique concepts’ that stands out from the crowd, as well as high-quality food and drink. As a small, independent business, Feast It also wishes to champion other indies that share its value of ‘heart and soul’.
