Located in the heart of Birmingham's buzzy city centre, IET's Austin Court is a stunning venue that offers a wide range of versatile spaces that can be hired for a host of different corporate events. Bursting with character, the Grade II-listed building is comprised of 14 indoor and outdoor spaces, which range from small meeting rooms to a high-tech lecture theatre perfect for talks and conferences.
Its largest space is the Kingston Lecture Theatre which features a large stage, tiered auditorium-style seating and state-of-the-art AV equipment. This impressive space can hold up to 150 guests for a conference, presentation, screening or award ceremony and you'll also receive a dedicated technician to help with logistics on the day.
It also offers multiple options for mid-sized and small events. The Lodge Rooms, for example, can be set up as one, two or three interconnecting rooms, depending on the size of your occasion, and offers bundles of character thanks to wooden beamed ceilings. More intimate spaces on offer at Austin Court include the Brindley, Boulton, and Faraday rooms which all benefit from the same period charm as the rest of the building. These can be hired by themselves as spaces for meetings, interviews and talks, or can be used in conjunction with other spaces for more major gatherings.
If you're looking to host an alfresco event, then the outdoor courtyard is a stunning secluded space which can be used as a space to relax between conference talks, or perhaps as the backdrop to a summer drinks reception.
Austin Court balances period charm with modern technology throughout the venue to offers guests the best of both worlds. This includes high-spec AV equipment in all of its spaces, allowing for virtual and hybrid events to take place if required.
Finally, the in-house catering team is able to offer multiple food and drink options. From a post-conference dinner to a relaxed buffet or bowl food, they've got it covered.
