Visiting
The Great Masked Ball website, you're given the option to 'choose your side: will it be the White Swan…or the Black?’ It's a tantalising preview ahead of a darkly theatrical evening of dining.
This themed dining event takes place 15 - 11 August at a secret London location (well, secret location in Peckham at least). The evening involves dancing, feasting, and music in an enchanted setting. Tchaikovsky's celebrated classical ballet will inspire the evening and will be performed by professional dancers, including Critics Circle Male Dancer of the Year, Liam Riddick.
You’re encouraged to wear a mask and waltz through glittering palatial halls, built by designers behind events including Planet Gingerline and the Alice’s Adventure Underground bar.
We’re particularly excited because the cooking is the work of 2011 Master Chef winner, Tim Anderson. He's working in cahoots with 2013 winner Natalie Coleman to produce banquet-style feasting.
If you'd like an enhanced experience of luxury, there’s a strictly limited
Chef’s Table. The experience - which includes four courses of exquisite fairytale-inspired dishes designed by Tim Anderson - suits an intimate group of top clients.
A VIP ticket includes a VIP 'Witching Hour' cocktail and VIP seating throughout the ball, and a dedicated set of immersive actors to interact with, as well as wine tasting from experts Corney and Barrow.
Dishes are inspired by Russian luxury ingredients, landscapes, and legends to fit the ballet theme. The Chef's Table experience costs £149pp, whereas VIP tix are £89pp and standard are £59pp.
