Ascot Racecourse festival of food and wine 2017

Ascot’s Festival of Food and Wine Racing Weekend will return on 7-10 September with demonstrations from Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc and the latest winner of the Great British Bake Off Candice Brown.

It’s a nice match for corporate hospitality with a combination of 140 food and wine stalls and live chef demonstrations across all four days, alongside flat racing on the Friday and Saturday.

Raymond Blanc has also designed a four-course fine dining menu with Phil Howard, James Tanner and Ascot head chef Ben Dutson. It will be available in the Parade Ring restaurant opposite the Royal Box. Packages start from £279pp and include a champagne reception, lunch, afternoon tea and a selection of drinks. The private viewing areas near to the tables and overlooking the Parade Ring are a good spot for watching the action.

All fine dining guests (including those in On 5 Restaurant) will also get the chance to meet a former jockey and chat to them about the day’s card.
