Looking for something special to spoil your top clients with? This food and music night aptly named Sound Bites at Camden Roundhouse might be just the thing. For one night only, seven of London’s top chefs will be gathered under one roof, each presenting their restaurant’s signature dish. Oh, and tickets go on sale today!
You can taste the calibre of some of the city’s most renowned chefs all in one evening, so put 29 September in your diaries. The stellar line-up includes Tomos Parry from
Brat, Selin Kiazim from
Kyseri, Robin Gill from
The Dairy, Tom Harris and Jon Rotheram from
The Marksman (pictured above), Merlin Labron-Johnson from
Portland, and Ravinder Bhogal from
Jikoni.
Merlin Labron-Johnson from Portland
The concept was created by the team behind food and music festivals Tom Kerridge Presents Pub in the Park and Gourmet Picture Company, and follows a similar model: combine the very best food with the very best music.
You can choose between a ‘carnivore’ (meat) or a ‘herbivore’ (vegetarian) six-course menu (one dish per restaurant) and you can view it in full
here. We’re intrigued by Tomos Parry’s vegetarian nut cheese; Robin Gill’s Cornish cod with barbecued sweetcorn, clams and chorizo XO; The Marksman’s crew’s devilled ox tongue with grilled sourdough and curd; and Merlin Labron-Johnson’s pigs head croquettes with honey, turnips and mustard.
Robin Gill from The Dairy
This is ideal for groups as group bookings ensure you can try everything on the menu.
So what about the music? Live performances and DJ sets from home grown London favourites Hot Chip and Foals are headlining, with more acts to be announced. Expect an evening of old school dance, electric and disco.
Ravinder Bhogal from Jikoni
Tickets cost £75pp and you can order them
here and
here – but be quick, we have a feeling the 3,000 tickets will sell out fast. Don’t worry if you miss out, though, we’ve been told more events like this will be rolled out in the future.
