Home Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House is located in the Old Town of Edinburgh's city centre, and is home to the Quakers of the Scottish capital. The Victoria Terrace location is a listed building, and filled with meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 80 guests. Fully accessible with a door ramp, Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House also has induction loop facilities in the main rooms and accessible toilets. There are a variety of rates and packages throughout the week, and concessions are offered to registered charities and grassroots groups.
The building is owned and managed by South East Scotland Area Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, and is maintained to a high standard. Throughout your event, you can enjoy a range of fairtrade beverages, and make use of the in house catering service for a working lunch. The venue's largest space is The Hall, which can accommodate a maximum of 80 people in a theatre style. The space has stacking chairs and tables that you can arrange in a variety of layouts, and has a fixed screen for presentations. For a more laid back setting, enjoy The Library that has room for 30. The room is lined with books and feels more cosy than others. Stacking chairs can be found in here, too, and blackout blinds make sure that you can crack on with work even if the sunshine is flooding in.
The very smallest room has space for 15 people, and is situated on the ground floor behind the office – making it nice and quiet. Whilst this space doesn’t have room for a presentation that requires a screen, it’s got all you need for a small meeting or discussion.
