There's venues and then there's Copper Box Arena. London's third biggest events arena with a capacity of over 7,000 people, if you're producing a large-scale, high-quality event across sporting, entertainment or conferencing, this space is one the best in the capital.
Located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 'The Box That Rocks' as it's affectionately known, has experience in hosting everything from international sporting competitions and music events to TV shows. It's the perfect place for awards ceremonies, too, having previously been the setting of the Bauer Media Awards as well as the Fiat 500x Car Launch.
In terms of equipment and capabilities, the space boasts LED video boards, house lighting and House PA system for announcements. There's also office space for event production, a dedicated event entrance, and in-house gym and showers and locker rooms. Each booking is awarded its own events manager who will work with you for eight weeks before your event, confirming everything from security plans to insurance and emergency procedures.
As for location, you couldn't ask for better, with Hackney Wick station station just a five-minute walk away and for guests travelling from afar, there are plenty of hotel options in the surrounding areas, with the team offering their expertise on where to stay.
If you're not looking to throw the event of the year and, instead, are in need of a simple meeting room, the Copper Box Arena can offer that, too. There are two meeting rooms available; a smaller space with capacity for up to 15 people or a slightly larger room with a capacity for up to 30.
Both meeting rooms have video conferencing with HD TVs and bluetooth connectivity, and offer a clean-cut, professionally-minded, blank canvas space to host an important meeting, client discussion or team away day.
