As well as being surrounded by transport links, it benefits from the hustle and bustle of the area, making it a convenient spot for guests commuting from around London.
Step inside and it's clear the restaurant's concept has been well executed across the menu, atmosphere and decor. Indeed, the multi-layered interiors mix muted wall panelling, exposed brick and textured tiles to create a space that feels both rustically casual and yet considered.
While you're welcome to speak to the team about booking a larger table in the main restaurant, if you'd like to take over an area exclusively for you and your group, there are two spaces available. The Atrium is a semi-private space just off the restaurant which benefits from the general buzz while feeling a little bit special. Here, there is space for 16 people seated or up to 20 for standing drinks and nibbles.
Otherwise, The Tap Room offers an entirely private option, on the lower ground floor of the restaurant. Here, you can take over the space and make it your own, as well as enjoy the private mini bar which is just for you and your guests. This area is slightly bigger and has capacity for 20 guests when seated and up to 30 when standing.
In terms of the menu, the clue is in the name with a rich variety of grilled dishes, sharing plates and market-sourced mains. Highlights include beef shin croquettes with Worchester ketchup, market fish with caper butter and grilled broccoli and Scottish sirloin steak.
