Aintree Racecourse is arguably one of the most well-equipped event and party venues in the northwest, if not the country. Boasting function rooms with capacities pushing 600, 14 conference and meeting spaces, 43 adaptable boxes and free parking for up to 1800 cars, this is truly a venue like no other. Having opened in 1829, the racecourse is steeped in history and hosts the world-famous Grand National to this day. Thanks to the sheer variety of rooms and spaces, Aintree is well-placed to host meetings, conferences, exhibitions, parties, banquets, proms and weddings.
There are many different suites available to book, the largest of which is the Golden Miller Suite, able to host up to 600 delegates. The Princess Royal Suite, meanwhile, has arguably the best view of the track, allowing up to 350 guests. The 1750 Suite is a more intimate space, well-suited to a boardroom-style setup, or large banquet dinner. Those who want a spot near the winning post should choose Becher’s Suite, which boasts excellent views and space for up to 150.
Aside from the numerous suites, there is the Exhibition Hall and Equestrian Centre. The former is perfectly designed for exhibitions and product launches, with full-height roller doors and complete AV spec. The latter, meanwhile, was completed for the 2007 Grand National and boasts vehicular access, making it ideal for motor shows, as well as other launches and events. The venue is partnered with Jockey Club Catering, so there are delicious menus which celebrate local produce to choose from, to keep your guests well-fed throughout your event.
