The restaurant is housed inside a Grade-II listed former banking hall and also doubles up as an event space that is available to hire either partially or exclusively. 1 Lombard Street can accommodate all manner of personal and corporate celebrations, ranging from intimate birthday dinners and working lunches to standing receptions and large parties.

The restaurant’s main room, which houses the Bar & Brasserie, is a striking space that features a soaring glass-dome ceiling and a central circular bar, making it a great option for parties. The Bar & Brasserie can welcome between 60 and 200 guests for a sit-down meal with space for a dance floor or up to 400 guests for a standing reception. 1 Lombard Street also benefits from a dedicated in-house events team who will help you plan every detail of your event from start to finish, taking much of the stress out of planning.

If you are looking to host something more intimate, whether it be a catch-up with friends or a corporate lunch, try the adjacent 1776 private dining room. The dining room is tucked away behind the back of The Brasserie and overlooks Mansion House Place. It is also flooded with natural light thanks to large windows, while high ceilings, a bright colour palette and glittering chandeliers add touches of glamour. Guests can choose to dine from a range of British seasonal set menus, which have been designed by head chef James Holden, who seeks to champion only the best sustainably-sourced produce. 1776 can welcome up to 60 guests for a sit-down meal or 90 standing.

Cancellation Policy

Guests are allowed to postpone their up to 14 days before their event as long as it takes place two months after the original event date. In the case of a cancellation less than 14 days before the event, the venue will retain the full deposit.

Packages for a three course meal start at just £65 per person! Canape packages start at just £25 per person!

AV Equipment

All private dining rooms contain a fully functional flat screen TV, with working audio that guests are welcome to connect to via HDMI. The venue will provide an HDMI cable. All private dining rooms have a fully functional speaker system that guests are welcome to play their own music on via a public playlist, on either Spotify or Apple Music. Any additional AV equipment (microphones, or additional screens) the venue is happy to source through an external supplier but at an additional cost, dependent on the equipment being hired.
