It’s the creamy texture provided by egg white that provides the magic in this drink and brings balance to the acidity. To encourage extra thickness, perform a ‘silent shake’ (without ice) prior to adding ice in the instructions below. The orange bitters accentuate the spice in the whisky.
Glass: Rocks
Shake all ingredients vigorously over ice.
Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.
