Poolside Pisco Sour

The Peruvians and Chileans still wrangle over who created the pisco sour, but there is no debate about the charms of this lip-smacking South American classic, which is made with the grape spirit pisco. Fruity, grassy and highly aromatic, it produces a sour with plenty of punch.

Ingredients

50ml ABA Pisco
25ml freshly squeezed lime juice
25ml sugar syrup
½ fresh egg white

Method

Glass: Rocks

This recipe can either be served blended with a 12oz scoop of crushed ice (don’t forget the straws) or shaken with ice

Either way, strain and serve neat in a rocks glass

Top with three drops of Angostura bitters
