If you're looking for a jaw-dropping venue in Hertfordshire? Welcome to Dyrham Park Country Club, which showcases an impressive 600-year old history, combined with modern facilities and an expert team.
Dyrham Park Country Club is well equipped to host any kind of celebration from weddings to birthdays, but at Christmas this Palladian Mansion really comes alive. Decked out with traditional seasonal decorations, the glittering chandeliers and Neo Classical features look even more beautiful and make for the most festive of backdrops for a Christmas party. Whether it be for your family, friends or colleagues, if you're based in Hertfordshire you'll be hard pressed to find a more joyful venue at this time of year.
Take over the whole clubhouse for your celebration and initially guests will be led into The Entrance Hall for initial greetings and to take in the setting. After that, it's time to enter The Grand Hall and marvel at the glittering chandelier and ceiling corning for reception drinks and canapes. After a few drinks have been enjoyed (because, it is Christmas, after all), the main meal will take place in the Terrace Room. Here, there is capacity for 140 people seated when using The Grand Hall for a dance floor, or 110 if you would rather keep the party in one space.
When it comes to food, the team are happy to provide in-house catering and say that their chefs are passionate about only using the best ingredients. There is a range of food options from traditional afternoon tea to a carvary, but if opting for a classic three-course meal dishes will be adjusted for the season. To get a flavour of what to expect, though, previous starters have included crispy duck confit with spring onion and cucumber salad, mains have been slow-cooked feather blade of beef with creamy mash, buttered spinach, shallots two-ways and red wine reduction, with desserts of vanilla crème brulée and sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce and vanilla ice-cream.
