The Body Coach Joe Wicks ties the knot with Rosie Jones

Joe Wicks, also known as the Body Coach, married model Rosie Jones at an intimate ceremony on Saturday 29 June.

The couple, who got engaged just three months after their baby, Indie was born last year, celebrated the big day with close friends and family. Some famous faces were in attendance, including Manchester United footie star, Chris Smalling.

The outdoor ceremony took place in a quaint woodland setting, surrounded by guests on rustic wooden benches embracing the blistering summer heat on the hottest day of the year so far. Once the couple had wed, the forest fairy tale continued with friends and family showering them in petal-like confetti.

A lavish reception followed the ceremony, which featured carnival-themed attractions, festoon lighting, a big Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round and other fairground games to entertain guests.

At the funfair reception, guests were treated to a gin bar, Prosecco bike, food trucks with pizza, burgers, ‘pimp your fries’ and canapés such as truffle mac 'n' cheese and Thai calamari.

The fitness coach was very active on social media throughout the day, posting videos of their first dance to his 2.7 million Instagram fans, as well as sharing photos of his radiant wife. The 32 year old also showed off the outdoor games with a video of himself enjoying the big wheel ride with his younger brother, while another video saw him and baby Indie on a carousel traipse.

Wicks uploaded a loved up picture saying: “Having the best day ever marrying my best friend Rosie.”

Wicks later posted about his special day and said: “It’s true when people say your wedding day goes by in a flash. We had the best day ever with our close family and friends. The venue was perfect, we were blessed with sunshine. We had fun fair rides, food trucks with our dream menu, A G&T bar and had gelato and frozen daqs for the win. The DJ was absolutely lit too. He kept the dance floor packed until 1am. Wish I could do it all over again.”

Rosie’s lace wedding dress featured a plunging neckline, long intricately decorated sheer sleeves and a soft tulle skirt. She topped the look off with a flower crown over her flowing wavy locks. Meanwhile, Joe looked dashing in a navy suit, white shirt and light blue tie, all made by tailor Caroline Andrew London. He finished off his look with a pair of black trainers.

Wicks ended the rollercoaster weekend with a romantic post on his Instagram feed updating his fans: “Wanna do it all over again. I feel so lucky to have met you Rosie. Thank you for marrying me. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. We are going on honeymoon for a few nights tomorrow. We are leaving Indie at home with our parents so we can spend some time alone.”

Wicks, who had previously indicated a fear of marriage in an interview with the Sun in January 2019, had a change of heart and said: “But when I grew up and met Rosie, the fear of it going wrong disappeared.”

He also added that he wanted to set a good example for his daughter Indie: “I want her to believe in love, I wanted to show her that I was going to be there through thick and thin — that I’m never going to bail on them”
