Love Island's Olivia Buckland reveals surprise wedding tattoo

Love Island’s Oliva Buckland has had her wedding flowers tattooed on her arm nearly a year after her ceremony with husband Alex Bowen.

Buckland, 25, and Bowen, 27, met on season two of Love Island and were named runners-up of the 2016 series - later tying the knot.

Olivia's fine lined bouquet included the lisianthus, rose and peony flowers from her big day which were tattooed by Loz Thomas at South City Market tattoo parlour. It looks like the Love Island runner up didn't suffer for her art, with Buckland saying: “It didn’t hurt at all!”

She had shared some videos of the process with her 2 million Instagram followers on stories and later posted the photo of her new ink to her grid. She also shared the snap on her Twitter profile, adding: “Three of my favourite flowers from our wedding day ?? ?? love this tattoo with all my heart.”

Olivia and her husband Alex, who are now making it as influencers, were the first Love Island contestants to get married. And they certainly had a day to remember, with the celebration including an eight-tier wedding cake, a helicopter arrival and a Prosecco van.

The couple have been living their best lives since they got hitched

Two years after meeting on the reality TV show, the loved up pair celebrated their 2018 nuptials with friends and family at their extravagant ceremony at Essex's Gosfield Hall. There was a whole host of stars in attendance, such as TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, while they had OK! Magazine to capture it all.

The couple then had a dreamy honeymoon in Bali and have since been enjoying married life, with talk of children in the near future.
