Uxbridge is a lovely suburban town in West London, and is known for its retail and commercial centre. Home to Brunel University of London, as well as the Uxbridge campus of Buckinghamshire New University, this town is a popular choice for university students. Uxbridge Lido first opened in 1935, and has since been restored as part of the Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex. There's much to do in Uxbridge, from visiting the London Motorcycle Museum, playing a round of golf, strolling down the high street, and visiting the very famous Battle of Britain Bunker.
